DR. IGNACIO ARMAS is a Florida-licensed and Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who
earned his medical degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He then completed four years of
internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial
Medical Center in Miami. During his last year there, Dr. Armas served as Administrative Chief Resident.
Board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, he has been in private practice in the Plant City and
Brandon, Florida area since 1988. Dr. Armas has special interest in laparoscopic surgery, surgery for
female urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pediatric and adolescent gynecology. Dr. Armas
is listed in the Florida edition of Castle Connolly's Guide,
"How To Find The Best Doctors". He is also
recognized in Metro Magazine 2007 and 2008 edition as,
"Best Doctors In America".

DR. HEIDI ARNOLD is Florida-licensed and Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a medical
degree from the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
She completed her residency at the University of South Florida/Tampa General Hospital in Tampa,
Florida. Dr. Arnold is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has special interest in high-risk
obstetrical care as well as laparoscopic surgery.


DR. JAMES BARON is Florida-licensed and Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology who earned
his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Baron completed his residency at
Allegheny University of Health Sciences Hospital for Women in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
During his residency, he served as Co-chief Administrative Resident for the Obstetrics and Gynecology
Department. Dr. Baron is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has special interest in
laparoscopic surgery as well as pediatric and adolescent gynecology.


DR. CATHERINE PITT is Florida-licensed and Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a Summa
Cum Laude graduate of the University of Miami. She earned her medical degree at the University of
Florida College of Medicine and served her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of
Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, Florida where she earned the Golden Apple Award three
times.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Pitt is Board Certified and has a special interest in psychology. Her obstetrical
disease research is reflected in her paper presented to the American College of Obstetrics &
Gynecology - a valued recognition by her peers.


DR. ANTOININA WATKINS is Florida-licensed and Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She
earned her medical degree at University of South Florida College of Medicine and served her residency
at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. During her residency she became Chief
Administrative Resident for Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her professional background includes many
honors designations as well as participation in research and volunteer programs. Dr. Watkins regards
medicine as a lifetime commitment where you never stop learning, or searching for better treatments,
better procedures and health options to help women attain a lifetime of wellness.


DR. ALLYSON JONES is a Florida-licensed Obstetrician and Gynecologist, is a cum laude graduate of
the Ohio State University. She earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio and completed
her residency at Bethesda North Hospital. During her final years there she was the Administrative Chief
Resident. Dr. Jones come from "a family of strong women, " and as well as introducing new life she is
passionate about health education that starts well before childbearing age. "Better understanding of our
changing health needs and being pro-active about our care options are keys to achieving optimum
health goals for a lifetime, " she says.



DR. ZAYDA CHAMORRO is a Florida-licensed Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She is a cum laude
graduate of the University of Puerto Rico where she majored in General Chemistry. Dr. Chamorro
earned her medical degree with honors from the University of Puerto Rico Medical School in San Juan
and completed her residency there in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She found her assignment teaching
undergraduate chemistry majors at the University of Puerto Rico extremely rewarding. Her level of
curiosity and interest in the care of each patient reflects her lifelong interest in chemistry, and its role in
the resolution of medical conditions.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, she promotes medical care at its highest possible standard,
delivered  with empathy and humanism. “This has emerged not just through education, but from a
family that embraces honor, ethics and strong family values,” she said. “They inspired me to achieve my
dreams.”


ALICE HONIKER, ARNP is a Florida-licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner earning her BSN
degree from Incarnate Word College in San Antonio, Texas and earning her master's from University of
Florida. She retired from the United States Air Force Nurse Corp in 1994, receiving three meritorious
and three Air Force commendation medals. She is certified as a nurse practitioner by the American
Nurse Credentialing Committee.


KENDRA KNODEL, ARNP
The daughter of a career nurse, Kendra Knodel was inspired from childhood by close observation of
medical professionals with a passion to better the lives of others.
With a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and bachelors’
degrees in both nursing and biology from the Creighton University School of Nursing, Omaha,
Nebraska, Kendra brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her patients. She also holds Lab
certification and S.T.A.B.L.E. - certification in the care of a NICU baby.
A multiple-state-licensed registered nurse, her expansive training expands her vision and, she
explained, drives her to “think outside the box.”
“I loved my work in pediatrics,” says Kendra. “But the experience with labor and delivery and postpartum
care cemented my choice to pursue obstetrics and gynecology. I am where I belong; every day is a joy.”
