CORD BLOOD COLLECTION

The Baby Suites at Brandon Regional Hospital is one of the largest obstetrical providers in Hillsborough County, with over 65,000
births and offers Level III Neonatal Intensive Care. In addition to these services, we also offer the latest in diagnostic testing and
equipment for expectant mothers and high risk pregnancies.

FREE PREGNANCY & POSTPARTUM CLASSES

Our office offers two prenatal classes and a postpartum class for our patients.

  • The first is our Early Pregnancy Class, also known as "What To Expect When You Are
    Expecting." It is recommended to take at Week 14 or less. The instructor will review body
    changes, nutrition and pre-term labor prevention. Class days are the 1st Tuesday of each
    month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
  • The second class we offer is Childbirth Education and Preparation Class. This is a five-
    week course where you learn about the process of labor and delivery along with a tour of
    the hospital.  Class days are Monday or Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
  • The Postpartum Class will include postpartum depression, breastfeeding and parenting
    skills. It is recommended to take during your 2nd or 3rd trimester. Class days are the 3rd
    Thursday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm.
